History
CenTex Volleyball Club was founded in 1993 to give area athletes interested in improving their volleyball skills a chance to compete against other teams with the convenience of utilizing area practice sites. CenTex Club teams compete in sanctioned tournaments of the Lone Star Region of USA Volleyball (USAV).
Purpose
CenTex Volleyball Club exists for the benefit of those who wish to achieve excellence in the sport of volleyball, and to promote interest in the sport at the local level. CVC teaches the values of teamwork, responsibility, and self discipline, and develops leadership skills.
Objectives
- To develop interest and encourage participation in the sport of volleyball for middle and high school players.
- To provide players with advanced technical training.
- To encourage and help athletes to pursue higher education by providing exposure of CVC players to college programs.
- To be recognized as one of the finest youth volleyball programs in the nation.
